For each component, the Catalogue offers an extensive set of data attributes, including its PDF specification sheet, 2D symbol ISO 1219:2012 compliant, images, technical data, commercial information, 3D representation, simulation model(s), virtual test bench(es) and use cases showing that the component behaves according to manufacturer specifications. Furthermore, a Product Configurator is also available for each product reference allowing the user to build the component’s part number as per Humphrey valve product options. Once the configuration process is completed, a valid part number with all corresponding product characteristics is generated. For instance, in the case of the valve shown in the figure above, options to choose the desired model, mounting type, valve operation type, and more, are available. The product information, technical data and symbol are updated according to the selected options. The component simulation models can be used directly for the design of a pneumatic circuit, real-time simulation, digital twin or monitoring in Automation Studio™. Developed in accordance with Humphrey’s Engineering Team support and Famic Technologies’ Quality System, this Catalogue is now available to the entire Automation Studio™ users’ community. “Our product offering of over 5000 valve configurations includes many specialty pneumatic items with unique characteristics not offered by other manufacturers. Automation Studio™’s simulation tool assists to illustrate their functionality,” says Humphrey’s Marketing Director, Michael Hammond. “We anticipate greater adoption of these products as problem solvers for customers using Automation Studio™.” “The collaboration with Humphrey’s team was very productive. All the information needed was provided on timely fashion to Famic Technologies’ team, which allowed to develop the catalogue containing all publicly available product lines as initially planned. Famic Technologies’ test and certification process was followed by a thorough validation by Humphrey’s team. The Automation Studio™ users’ community can count on a high-quality Humphrey catalogue.” Says Richard Gagné, Quality Manager, Famic Technologies Inc.
