ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICES AND INITIATIVES

Famic Technologies operates exclusively on electricity supplied by our national provider. Electricity is used on demand, whether for lighting, heating, air conditioning, or computer use.

Famic Technologies is implementing several concrete measures to reduce its ecological footprint:

Hybrid Working Method:

By combining teleworking and presence in the office, we reduce travel and energy consumption related to workspaces.

Online Training Offer (Webinars):

For several years, we have been offering our users several online training sessions in order to reduce travel to physical rooms, thus contributing to significantly limiting the carbon footprint related to international travel.

Video Conference Meetings:

Each work team has a video conference space that it can use for its internal and external meetings.

Responsible Management of IT Equipment:

All obsolete equipment is entrusted to a certified firm for recovery and recycling, guaranteeing safe and environmentally friendly disposal.

Reducing Paper Usage:

We prioritize digital processes, recycle paper, and encourage double-sided printing.

Recycling and Waste Reduction:

Our offices have sorting stations:

  • for the recycling of paper and cardboard, which is handled by municipal collection services,
  • for the recycling of containers which are entrusted to a specialized collection company,
  • and confidential paper recovery boxes, which are entrusted to a specialized firm for the secure destruction of these documents.

Optimization of Resources and Facilities:

  • Water: We use automatic taps to reduce water consumption and a drinking trough with an integrated filter to fill reusable bottles.
  • Disposable Containers: Each employee uses their own reusable bottle and coffee cup, and the executive kitchen is equipped with washable dishes and accessories, thus avoiding the use of disposable containers.
  • Computer Power Supply: Screens and computers are switched off in the evenings and on non-working days. Those that are left on go into sleep mode.
  • Lighting: The lighting is LED. Only emergency lighting and necessary lighting are functional in the evening, at night and on non-working days.
  • Ventilation, Heating, and Air Conditioning System: Installed in our premises in 2025, our state-of-the-art heat pump-based ventilation, heating, and air conditioning system allows for zone-based temperature control using highly sensitive, programmable digital thermostats. The temperature in each zone is significantly reduced outside of normal business hours.

These actions reflect our desire to integrate concrete and sustainable actions into our corporate culture.
