Famic Presented its Industry 4.0 Oriented Solutions in Quebec (Montreal, Quebec) January 23, 2017 Famic Technologies Inc. recently participated in two major events in Quebec supporting Industry 4.0 initiatives. These events enabled Famic Technologies to share a common vision with the various attendees and manufacturing companies present. Following the invitation of Productique Québec, Famic Technologies presented the seminar "Manufacturing Execution System: Concepts et avantages du système de pilotage" in Sherbrooke on November 18, 2016. This opportunity lead to a productive exchange with manufacturers about their long-term needs for their production’s optimization in line with concepts suggested by Industry 4.0. Famic Technologies also took part in the "Supplier Testimonial Panel" during the one-day event of conferences and discussions on Industry 4.0: "L'excellence numérique, vecteur de l'innovation et de la productivité des usines québécoises". Organized in Quebec by the CRIQ, this event brought together over a hundred participants from SMEs to large companies but all related to the manufacturing industry. Through its involvement in these two events, Famic Technologies was able to showcase the benefits of its software solution Andon StudioTM, which optimize production management. This solution offers a complete range of functions that can be integrated efficiently into production chains, for a successful implementation that respects the vision of the 4th industrial revolution.
