By implementing a hydraulics controller with a hydraulic proportional control system, you could obtain advanced functions such as electronic power control, electronic synchronous control and energy-saving control, etc.

Electronic control debugging and programming are both major issues for electronically controlled proportional systems. Through the implementation of Automation Studio^TM and Danfoss PLUS+1 controller for co-simulation, the design feasibility between the hydraulic system and the performance of the electrical control strategies can be tested and verified. The improvement and optimization of these strategies and the hydraulic systems themselves provide a path for future developments and, meanwhile, it reduces the time spent for on-site troubleshooting while improving the success rate of the system design.

Using Automation Studio^TM Block Diagram module to apply pulse loads onto the hydraulic system design, the resulted pressures are then connected to the hydraulic PLUS+1 controller hardware for further processing. Calculations are done according to the pre-defined algorithm, producing corresponding control currents which are relayed back to Automation Studio^TM. Automation Studio^TM will interpret these control current signals and adjust the plunger pump accordingly.

The parameter configuration of the PLUS+1 controller is modified according to the simulation results from Automation Studio^TM. The rationality of the protection model is also verified.
