How can I connect my physical equipment/machine to Andon Studio™?

Andon Studio™ supports OPC Communication. Please refer to https://opcfoundation.org/ for more information about OPC. Andon Studio™ is natively an OPC Client (DA and UA) and an OPC Server (DA and UA).

To connect your machine to Andon Studio™, you need to verify your machine’s documentation or contact the manufacturer to verify if your machine supports OPC communication. If yes, Andon Studio’s interfaces for OPC Client and OPC Server will allow you to easily configure and establish the connection. Detailed help files are also available to guide you through the different steps. If not, you need to know which communication standards/protocols are supported by your machine; then look for a third party OPC driver that supports this standard/protocol to act as a "communication converter" between your machine (specific standard/protocol) and Andon Studio™ (OPC). Such drivers are very frequently used for various industrial applications.

On the other hand, Famic Technologies offers various services that can help you connect your equipment and machines, such as System analysis, Custom development, Training… If you need any of these services, please contact your sales representative.
